(Amherst, NY 11/29/21) – Beacon Center is pleased to announce it has started a program for healthcare and frontline workers experiencing substance use issues.  Beacon Center, located at 3354 Sheridan Drive in Amherst, is certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (NYS OASAS). For many working in the helping professions, this past year and a half has been a time of fear and uncertainty due to the Covid 19 pandemic.  Stress levels have been high for many and risk of exposure, and death are everyday occurrences.
