Beacon Center is currently looking for caring, compassionate, and energetic professionals to join our team. Some of the positions for which we are accepting resumes on a continual basis are listed below.
Clinical Supervisor
The Clinical Supervisor provides leadership and direction in maintaining Beacon Center’s high standards. This person coordinates staff assignments and work schedules. The Clinical Supervisor is also responsible for all patients’ documentation at the site, including, but not limited to, progress notes, psychosocial history, consent forms, and discharge summaries. The Clinical Supervisor must alse ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Like all counselors, must maintain competence through participation in seminars, workshops, and other appropriate learning experiences as well as attend case conferences and other meetings as scheduled. This person also performs other duties as may be requested by the Director.
Senior Substance Use Disorder Counselor
The Senior Counselor conducts comprehensive evaluations for assessment and diagnostic purposes relating to substance use disorder problems and behaviors. This person conducts individual and group-therapy sessions and provides specific treatment plans for and with each assigned patient. The Senior Counselor is also responsible for assigned patients’ documentation, including, but not limited to, progress notes, psychosocial history, consent forms, and discharge summaries. All counselors must maintain competence through participation in seminars, workshops, and other appropriate learning experiences as well as attend case conferences and other meetings as scheduled. This person also performs other duties as may be requested by the Director.
Substance Use Disorder Counselor I
The Substance Use Disorder Counselor I conducts comprehensive evaluations for assessment and diagnostic purposes relating to substance use disorder problems and behaviors. This person also conducts individual and group-therapy sessions and prepares specific treatment plans for and with each assigned patient. The Substance Use Disorder Counselor I is also responsible for assigned patients’ documentation, including, but not limited to, progress notes, psychosocial history, consent forms, and discharge summaries.
All counselors must maintain competence through participation in seminars, workshops, and other appropriate learning experiences as well as attend case conferences and other meetings as scheduled. This person also performs other duties as may be requested by the Director.
Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant greets callers in person or on the telephone and either provides requested information or refers the caller to the appropriate staff member. This person also makes appointments for patients, gathers intake information, assists new patients with paperwork, takes messages, signs in patients, collects co-pays, and types routine correspondence, among other duties.
